Phoniton™ MCA-15 is a kind of high effective nitrogen halogen free flame retardant. It is very stable when the temperature is lower than 300℃. However, sublimation will happen when the temperature is above 350℃. The decomposition temperature of Phoniton™ MCA-15 is 440℃~450℃. Phoniton™ MCA-15 is in high content of nitrogen, and it will dehydrate to carbon while in high temperature, and it will also release N2, CO2 and water while burning. As a flame retardant, it works through absorbing heat and releasing incombustible gases after sublimation. Phoniton™ MCA-15 flame retarded TPE will achieve UL 1581 VW-1. It has good compatibility with TPE system and helps reduce blooming phenomena.Phoniton™ MCA-15 has fine particle size with a narrow distribution. It is especially suitable for applications with high surface requirement like TPE wires and cables, PA tubes and TPU wires.
